Valentina Zigante is a Research officer at the Personal Social Services Research Unit at London School of Economics and Political Science. Valentina is also a member of the Quality and Outcomes of person centred care (QORU) policy research unit, of the Economics of Social and Health Care Research Unit (ESHCRU) and of the International Long-term Care Policy Network (ILPN). Valentina’s background is in economics and she has previously carried out research on individual wellbeing and choice policies in health and LTC in European countries. Her research interests include the measurement of user and caregiver experience and the economics of health care and long-term care provision and financing.
Valentina is currently involved in estimation of demand for social care services and analysis of outcomes for informal caregivers within the Quality and Outcomes Research Unit.
